After graduating from Indiana University East with a bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Paige became a tattoo artist and professional body piercer. Ever since her early college years, Paige has known the value of solidarity within her community. In the past she has used her drawings and paintings to raise money for Nourish Our Neighbors’ distribution services. From donating handmade bowls she made in her ceramics class to providing hot meals to those in need, Paige finds herself centering food and art in her mutual aid efforts.

With a deep commitment to combating systemic injustices, McKahla's life's work is centered around practical activism and community adaptation. Believing in the power of grassroots efforts, she strives to meet the needs of her neighbors where larger systems may fall short.

McKahla's dedication to building community and nourishing those around her extends beyond rhetoric into action. For the past two years, she has spearheaded the preparation and distribution of free meals, ensuring that no one in her community goes hungry. Brooklyn, a lifelong resident of the Dayton area, is motivated by a deep-rooted passion for self-sufficiency and giving others the tools and confidence necessary to grow. Brooklyn embodies a can-do spirit, constantly seeking ways to independently address challenges. Her commitment to empowering individuals extends beyond meeting basic needs; she incorporates beauty services into Nourish Our Neighbors' distributions, aiming to uplift and restore dignity to those in need. Brooklyn's unwavering sense of justice fuels her tireless advocacy for equitable access to resources and opportunities within her community.
